Office Manager February 2017

Advent Lutheran Church in Mill Creek is looking to hire a part time Office Manager, 20 hrs/week.

The Office Manager is a position with Christian hospitality at the forefront. The Office Manager will help Advent continue to extend the love of Christ to our neighbors by being the initial point of contact for those contacting the church by phone, email, and in-person. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required and nurtured, as well as the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Strong computer skills and experience with desktop publishing are necessary. The Office Manager position requires the ability to gracefully handle multiple tasks in an environment where interruptions are natural and expected. Duties include general clerical duties, calendar maintenance and coordination, desktop publishing, website maintenance, database upkeep, filing, financial duties in coordination with the Church Treasurer, and volunteer recruiting and care.
