Mill Creek Food Bank

Every Thursday in the Fellowship Hall

Serving zip codes 98012 and 98208.

We set up the Food Bank at 3:00, and serve clients from 4:00-6:00. Volunteers of all ages and abilities, come live out your faith! This is a time of blessing and dignity for all. Volunteers the first week of April will be especially appreciated!

4-6pm, 2nd and 4th Thursdays in the Fellowship Hall

All are welcome to shop the free community clothing bank. Clothes available for all ages. Donations welcome.

Garden of Giving


The Gardent is coming alive! Come be part of the Garden Crew on Monday and Thursday mornings at 8:00 a.m. The Garden of Giving provides vegetables and herbs and a sense of wholeness for those in need. Volunteers rototill, plant, weed, water and harvest crops that are donated to the Mill Creek Food Bank. We literally grow and donate a ton of food every year.

First and Third Thursdays at 12:30pm

All ages and skill levels welcome to joing our quilters group! The provide hundreds of quilts, made with love to Lutheran World Relief each year. For more information, contact Cora Evans at 425-743-3691. Be sure to join us for worship on April 30th, 8:30 and 10:30 as we bless the quilts before they are sent to the far corners of our world, bringing comfort and beauty and peace and hope.


Quarterly - next meeting TBD

Meets quarterly on Saturday mornings to pick up litter on 132nd Street from Seattle Hill Road to Bothell-Everett Hwy. We meet at 9:00 in the Advent parking lot. Dress for the weather, bring gloves, and enjoy a great morning with a wonderful dedicated group of people!

Christmas Baskets

December 2018

Each year, Advent celebrates the spirit of Christmas by providing turkey dinners to 200 needy families in our community. Plan now to be part of the huge crew needed to assemble and distribute these gifts in December. More details as we get closer to December!

This vital program would not be possible without your generosity, so please also consider making a donation. Each food basket costs about $50, however, a contribution of any amount is welcome and appreciated. Just designate ‘Holiday Food Baskets’ on your check.

Fair Trade - next December 2018

Once a year hosts a fair trade craft fair, along with fair trade products (coffee, tea, chocolate).
