Advent Prayer Time
Advent is a praying congregation! Let's combine some of our prayers each week from our own homes. While we're not able to gather together in the Sanctuary to offer prayers, we can set aside Thursday evenings as a time of collective, common prayer from our homes. Please use Advent Prayer Time to pray for our community, for our neighborhood, for our world. Thank you for your prayers!
(may this VIDEO help get you started with your prayers.)
We have made the difficult decision, as we make plans for the upcoming seasons of the Church Year here at Advent, that we will not resume in-person worship until later 2021, worshiping only online at least through Easter 2021.
The Season of "Advent" is a time of waiting, we are in such a time. We are waiting and working and working and waiting. Every person in our community is important and your voice is important.
If you would like to provide input or have recommendations please send it via email to the Advent Reopening Task Force.
Your voice matters!
Prayers and God’s peace be with you.

Thank you for supporting Advent Lutheran Church!
We extend our welcome to people of all races, cultures and colors; to people of all sexual orientations; to people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities; to people of every legal, economic and marital status; and to all those whom the world seeks to separate, divide, or isolate.
We celebrate your identity as a gift from God, and we welcome you to a diverse community united by our faith. We welcome you to receive God’s grace given to all regardless of our worldly successes or failures.
Welcome one another therefore, just as Christ has welcomed you for the glory of God.
