Advent Hockey Night
Sunday Jan 29 @ 4pm
Everett Silvertips vs. Spokane Chiefs
Sign Up HERE
Hey Advent, let's watch hockey! On Sunday, January 29th we are inviting everyone out for a late afternoon of hockey. We will watch our hometown Everett Silvertips take on the Spokane Chiefs.
While tickets are $15 each, this event is "Pay What You Can." We want to make sure all who want to join us can, so whether you can pay $5 for your ticket or you want to "sponsor" other tickets and pay more, either is welcome. We will make sure the cost for your ticket is covered either way.
Reserve your tickets by Wednesday, January 18th. Tickets can be picked up at the office before the game or meet Bryant outside the arena between 3-3:15pm before the game.
This is open to all ages, so join us for a great day of hockey together!

Advent Lutheran Church Assists 225 Families in Need with Gift Cards and a Christmas Dinner
Advent Lutheran Church believes in helping the poor and vulnerable in our community. Advent Lutheran Church's Food Baskets Committee is thrilled to share that 225 Families in our area received either a Gift Card or a Christmas Dinner. during the holidays. Volunteers of America, Everett Gospel Mission, Clothes for Kids, YWCA, and local schools helped us to identify recipients in need, and the cards were delivered during December.

Free Food Pantry at Advent Lutheran Church
During the pandemic, Advent has offered a free food pantry directly in front of the church which is always unlocked for those in need to collect food —and it is always unlocked to receive food donations. We welcome all items, but especially pasta, sauce, canned fruit, bar soap, shampoo, and hot and cold cereal. Also be sure to join us for the "First Sunday of the Month Food and Pet Food Drive" - bring your unopened food and pet items to worship! Thank you!
