• catechumenate

Catechumenate, or "Going Deeper," is a process of engaging with Scripture and with community over a period of seven weeks. Going Deeper is designed for those looking to join Advent, as well as for all people at Advent to take some time to engage with God's Word and with community.

Come enjoy a home-cooked dinner, time to get to know other people at Advent and different ministries, and most of all, start your week refreshed in God's Word.

Going Deeper is a time to deepen your spiritual life and open yourself more fully to God.  For more information, contact Pastor Scott, pastor@adventlutheran.net

  • centering prayer

Centering Prayer is a receptive method of silent prayer in which we experience God's presence within us. It brings us into a closer, deeper relationship with God.

Centering Prayer normally meets on Monday evenings in the Sanctuary, however, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are praying from our homes instead, for health reasons.

  • Third Monday Bible Study

The Third Monday Bible Study group currently meets on Zoom at 7:00 pm every third Monday.  Bring your Bible, your joys and challenges, and strengthen your walk in faith.  We base our devotion on the Women of the ELCA Gather Magazine, but in case you don't have a copy, it is not necessary if you’d like to join us!  For more information contact the church office, churchoffice@adventlutheran.net

  • lectionary bible study with pastor scott

Lectionary Bible Study is an in-depth discussion of the week's lessons.  We meet online every Wednesday morning at 10:00am using Zoom.

    All are welcome!
