We believe every child is a unique and beloved child of God, full of curiosity, creativity, and limitless potential. Through joyful, play-based, and structured learning in a safe and welcoming community, we nurture the mind, body, heart, and spirit of each child. We partner with families to help their children grow in confidence, kindness, resilience, and foster a lifelong love of learning.
Our Welcome
At Advent Lutheran Preschool, every child and every family belongs. As a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), Advent Lutheran Church is committed to sharing God's love for all people and welcoming everyone into our community. We welcome families of every race, ethnicity, culture, family structure, gender identity, sexual orientation, faith tradition, ability, and socioeconomic background. We believe every person is worthy of dignity, respect, and love. Our classrooms are places where children learn kindness, empathy, curiosity, and respect for themselves and others.
Our Foundation.
Everything we do is grounded in God's love. Our faith shapes the way we care for children, partner with families, and build community together. Our faith calls us to love our neighbors, celebrate each person's unique gifts, and create a place where all children can learn, grow, and flourish. Through everyday interactions, chapel experiences, stories, songs, prayer, and acts of kindness, children discover that they are deeply loved by God and are encouraged to share that love with others.

Play with Purpose
We believe children learn best through play. Our classrooms are filled with opportunities for hands-on exploration, creativity, discovery, and meaningful experiences that inspire curiosity and build confidence. Through purposeful play, children develop the academic, social, and problem-solving skills that prepare them for kindergarten and foster a lifelong love of learning.
Growing the Whole Child
We nurture each child's cognitive, social, emotional, physical, and spiritual development, recognizing that every child grows in their own unique way. Our goal is to help children develop confidence, kindness, resilience, independence, and a sense of wonder that will serve them throughout their lives.
Families are Partners
Parents and caregivers are a child's first and most important teachers. We value strong relationships built on trust, communication, and mutual respect. By partnering with families, we create a supportive community that celebrates each child's unique strengths and works together to help every child thrive.

As a ministry of Advent Lutheran Church, we are rooted in God's love and joyful hospitality. We believe every person is created in the image of God, and we celebrate each person's identity as a gift from God. We intentionally cultivate a community where every child and every family feels safe, valued, known, and loved.
